The strategy to get the ACE Act passed into law relies on us taking back the Senate and the Presidency in 2024.
HAVA and NVRA need reform and only Congress can accomplish this with a GOP President to sign this bill into law.
- Bill based on three principles:
- The constitution required that the states establish election laws for the administration of elections.
- All eligible voters must be able to vote and all lawful votes must be counted
- Political speech is protected by the first amendment – including conservative voices.
- Reforms Proof of Citizenship
- Addresses Voter ID hole – push for amending RealID to include citizenship, Voter IDs for absentee voting
- Requires USPS to standardize election mail, closes loopholes
